Family Life Protector : With this coverage from Combined Life, you can choose between a Whole Life policy (benefits are made available to your family no matter when death occurs), or a Whole Life policy with a Term Life rider.
Optional Accidental Death Benefit (Ages 0 - 59) : If you die due to an accident, this will help provide financial protection for your family. The optional accidental death benefit pays double the face amount of your policy (from $20,000 to $100,000). The benefit won't be applicable if your accidental death occurs after the first policy anniversary once you turn 65.
Living Benefit
(Accelerated Death Benefit) : These benefits, though they may be taxable and may affect a recipient's eligibility for certain public assistance programs, will provide you with your Family Life Protector benefit while you are living. There is a caveat: You or a covered member of your family must be afflicted with a condition that will either be likely to result in death within a year, or require a hospital stay for an indefinite amount of time. There is a cap of $50,000 for this optional benefit.
